After climbing a most impressive pass comprising of no more than 9 hairpin bends we popped out at the top to find the town of Wayanad. A jeep ride later traversing tea plantations we entered the heavily forested wonderland, which is the setting of the Wayanad Wild Resort. This CGH property is very well appointed, suitably understated to blend into the surroundings and clearly well managed by David Raju and his team. David is a leading naturalist in India having recently compiled two field guides on southern and central India with one on western India about to go to press. We saw things here that we had not seen elsewhere, particularly on the night tours, including 8 frog and 5 snake species! The rooms were very comfortable and the food was delicious. Our one night stay here, particularly the walks with Umesh, were memorable.

O Pepper Trail está situado numa plantação de café e de especiarias com cerca de 80 hectares, onde disponibiliza casas de árvore, suites património e villas com piscina. Everything about Pepper Trail was amazing. As soon as I entered the gates It felt so tranquil. I stayed in a premium villa, which is really large and airy and has a veranda for watching the birds during the day or just relaxing. The pool area is so peaceful, surrounded by tropical flowers & plants. All the staff went out of their way to help with anything, they were very knowledgeable about all the wildlife, plants and spices. The food here is great too, if I had one small quibble, it’s that you always got way too much food. I would highly recommend Pepper Trail.

Saugandhika West Gate situa-se em Wayanad, a 5,5 km de Ancient Jain Temple, e dispõe de acomodações com uma piscina exterior, estacionamento privado gratuito, um centro de fitness e um jardim. The manager Jaznan who were there at reception was a great host. He was there for every need. Ordering food to parking, till our departure, his behaviour will make us come back to West Gate Sultan Bathery again. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality Jaznan

The property is extremely serene and beautifully crafted. We stayed at the villa with a private pool and the room was massive. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for two nights. The best part of the entire stay was the outstanding hospitality shown by everyone from management to housekeeping. We travelled with two small babies and every single request we made was accommodated in double quick time. Also to mention, the food is extremely delicious and well made, we had vegetarian food. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and family for a stay here.

Absolutely stunning location . Wonderful staff who bend backwards to give you want you want . One can never go wrong with a Taj .. Chef Raj and chef Sanil kumar were constantly meeting us to ensure we were comfortable. We even had a wonderful unique dining experience on our anniversary. Chef Sanil was personally involved in curating the menu. The Manager Restaurants , Mr Sajjith was exceptional. He was attending to us everyday and even making some cocktails with the limited inventory. Some people who made our trip memorable were - Sajjith , Raj & Sanil , Akshay and Ameer ( interns ).

Can't recommend enough this wonderful resort. Design of the resort itself is so close to the nature, you'll feel relaxed and peaceful. Staff at the resort deserves a special appreciation for their attention to detail for every small thing they to do make guests stay a memorable one. Food at the resort is delicious, especially the breakfast buffet which contains multiple local delicacy. Albin from the reception team and Chef Sheriful and Satish were very helpful and professional for our special requests! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Excellent service. Drivers are provided free accommodation. Great location overlooking lake. Ayurvedic massage at reasonable price. Staff eager to please and willing to accommodate every request. The restaurant even made special packed lunch for our road journey back. The manager Prateesh was extremely helpful. Noting from the passport that we were celebrating my birthday he had our room specially decorated and had a lovely cake baked and sent to us. Though laundry service was not available, he had our clothes washed and ironed. A staff even joined us for some games. Honestly, you can’t find better service anywhere. Highly recommend.
