This is a one-of-a-kind establishment. I was hesitating to book as a solo traveller. Thought it would feel a little too personal and lack of pool. I loved this placed. The staff was so kind. Everything from the bedding to the water pressure was top quality. The restaurant ‘The Pharmacy’ is an absolute must as well. Location is is on a quiet, leafy street just a ten minute rickshaw ride from the center.

A 1921 home in Jodhpur, now restored into a vibrant heritage hotel. Resting inside a quiet residential neighborhood, Daspan House is your oasis to peace and tranquility. This is a fabulous hotel which is perfectly located in Jodhpur. It is in a quieter location than the old city and only a short tuktuk ride away from everything. The hotel has a very cool ambiance, with jazz music playing in the bar or the garden. It’s very beautiful, and was renovated only recently. The attention to detail is excellent. The staff are excellent. When I arrived from Jaipur in the morning I was a bit unwell and by the next day my condition was life threatening. The hotel organised for an excellent doctor from the best hospital to come to the room and treat me there. All up, there was one doctor and two nurses traveling back and forth from the hospital, replacing IV drips, taking blood tests, dispensing medication over four hours. Total cost only rp 4,500 and I was cured. My advice if you get acute gastroenteritis even after taking every precaution, don’t hesitate to call for the doctor before you dehydrate to the point of near organ failure. I am very grateful to the staff at this fabulous hotel who kept checking on me and the fabulous hospital staff. All this, and the beds are soooo comfortable!

Located in Pushkar, 7 km from Varaha Temple, Camp Lands End provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking. Fantastic hotel that takes you out of the craziness of Pushkar for a few hours of tranquility. It is exactly as it appears in the photos. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. The food is delicious. We told them it was our honeymoon and they made us a cake and performed a small ceremony for us. They also arranged travel into Pushkar for us and a hike in the nearby mountains. All in all, a wonderful place to stay.
