EVERYTHING (deliberately in capital letters). This is a phenomenal hotel and undoubtedly the most spectacular place we've ever visited. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and we already can't wait to go back. We would highly recommend the Markee Castle to ANYONE.

Castledale offers accommodation in Sligo situated only 4.5 km away from the city centre. This spacious property offers WiFi throughout and free parking. Made incredibly welcome upon arrival by our host who really wanted us to enjoy the region. It is an amazing house and our room was very comfortable. Our breakfast was very satisfying and we really appreciated the variety of choices. The food was freshly cooked and promptly served. We were really taken with the extra touches to make us comfortable such as the breakfast starter of fruit, yoghurt and granola. The tip for dinner read us really well. After 2 weeks of pub food we were ready for a quality take on Irish cooking and Eala Bhan fit that bill beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great night sleep in a comfortable bed, in a specious room. Very nice home style breakfast to order . Nice helpful friendly staff. Hope to come again !

River Dale, a property with a garden, is situated in Willsborough, 3.6 km from Sligo Abbey, 3.8 km from Yeats Memorial Building, as well as 4.1 km from Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. Beautiful bungalow in perfect location. Only 5 minutes from Sligo town.

Duffy's Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Ballymote, 19 km from Dr. Beautiful house, lovely furniture, very clean... I would highly recommend it. Even left a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge for us ! We felt at home...we would definitely stay there again....better than a hotel....thank you to the owner

Set in a 500-acre private estate, this 18th-century country house offers luxury rooms with countryside views and its own tennis court. Guests can enjoy on-site trout fishing in the river. Coopershill is steeped in history which was in itself a reason for a memorable stay. Add to that the welcoming owners and their fantastic and friendly staff, from whom nothing was too much trouble, and cap the whole thing off with gourmet standard food (both the breakfasts and evening meals) using local ingredients, many from the immediate locale and attached gardens, all of which results, in my opinion that it would be hard to beat, not just in Ireland, but also many of the other countries that I have visited.

With views of Lake Isle of Innisfree and an on-site gym, The Residences, St Angela's is 5 minutes’ drive from Sligo city centre. Free WIFI and free private parking are available on site. I really liked the view of Lough Gill and Inisfree. Had the weather cooperated I would have taken some great photos but we don't control the weather. However, as I've said many times, you don't go to Ireland for the weather. St.Angela's provides a terrific microcosm of what Ireland offers.

We had a great 3 night stay with family. Loved having 3 full bathrooms. The location was handy and easy to get to. Loved the view of the lake.
