It was so good I will always return when I'm in this area again. The hostess, Noreen, is marvelous and so helpful with information of the surrounding area. A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Connemara countryside but within easy driving to Clifden. Clifden is a real gem with great live traditional music, restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that I didn't have the time to stay longer. Well done Noreen. I really hope to come back some day.

So comfortable, so clean, great shower and all the facilities, comfy beds and lots of room. Such a beautiful place and a great window view. Patricia was extremely kind and helpful and great to talk to, very caring. The irish breakfast served was excellent.

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. Breakfast was very good. Host was excellent and friendly.
