Rang up on the morning for an early check in due to a poor nights sleep the night before and Fiona was very accomodating which I thank her immensely for. Wonderful breakfast and location.

Featuring free WiFi, Cruachan House offers accommodation in New Galloway, 25 miles from Dumfries. Free private parking is available on site. Each room is equipped with a TV. We had a great couple of nights stay here. The room was very spacious, very clean and the decor excellent. The bathroom was just as big as the bedroom. Excellent shower and bath! The bed was very comfortable, Hazel was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. Would love to stay again, highly recommend.

Situated in the historic Maxwelltwon area of Dumfries, the traditional sandstone Lauren House offers free private off-road parking and free WiFi access. Absolutely loved this location and property. The proprietors Jim and Jackie were delightful and hospitable. Walking distance to all Dumfries has to offer! This is a can’t miss if your travels take you to this little corner of Scotland.

Once a shooting lodge, Trigony House Hotel and Garden Spa is a dog-friendly accommodating offering a relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful gardens, Room very spacious, same as the bed, could fit 4 people🤭. Dinner was lovely, fresh and local ingredients and not too expensive. Great breakfast. Was for a short stay only but would be a hotel to stay a little longer.

Balyett Farmhouse B&B offers spectacular views of Lochryan and the countryside. Guests benefit from free parking and free WiFi. The rooms feature an en suite or private bathroom. We liked everything about our stay.

The refurbished Ship Inn is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Galloway. Although this was a very last minute, one night only booking, and we didn't get to experience the full package right down to breakfast or dinner, the hotel 150% met our expectations. Room was spacious, clean with modern, also very clean bathroom. Couldn't have asked for better. Will definitely book The Ship Inn again should we find ourselves in the area.
