This fine 4-star design hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Villingen-Schwenningen, in the Black Forest. The Neckar cycle path runs beside the property, which offers bike storage facilities.... The Hotel is in a very central location. The rooms were modern, clean, and the beds were super comfy. The breakfast was superb. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice design overall and well thought out. I found out that this used to be a jail where many Jews were imprisoned. While the leaning into the prison details nice design-wise, I'm not sure it's considerate. However, its functioning as a hotel overall is pretty impeccable from form to functions. While there's a surcharge for dogs, it's the only hotel we've been to that actually set up a nice little corner for our pup with bed/mat, bowls and a bag of treats. It's such nice little details.
