The 5-star Giardino Violetta is situated at the foothills of Monte Bré in Lugano-Castagnola and offers panoramic views of Lake Lugano and a private romantic garden with palm trees. The host was available for us to help solve some of our travel interruptions and difficulties. He was so understanding and helpful. He really put us at ease and was so considerate to our travel issues. When the European converters we brought didn't fit, he even loaned us some that fit! He even texted in at the end of our stay to make sure all was going well. We definitely would love to come back again. The garden and lake view was so peaceful and relaxing after a difficult train travel journery.

Loved the location in a very quiet and peaceful place. We didn't know before we booked but it is right at the beginning of the famous walk path between Castagnola and Gandria, which takes about 45 minutes one way. The host, Bernhard, was very pleasant, give us all the information we needed and responded to our questions almost immediately. Thank you 🥰

Hotel Splendide Royal je osnovan 1887. godine i nudi atmosferu sa kraja XIX i početka XX veka. Concierge was very nice and helpful.

Objekat ICON H - Luxury Business Suite & Apartments, koji se nalazi u gradu Lugano, na 8 min. Very clean. Well equipped (tea, coffee, olive oil). Close to university (very easy to take public transport). Best cappuccino just about 5 min walk (elly bar) and very good croassaint in patisserie. Lidl and migros just around the corner. To resume: it’s a little bit far from the center of Lugano, but gave us the sense of living like a local and not a tourist. We will return.
