Hotel Schachner is located in the town of Maria Taferl, close to the basilica. It offers views of the Alps and the Danube River. Incredible views at the Spa. Beautiful location and throughly enjoyed it. Would highly recommend.

The place is just lovely - a room with a door to the garden (in our case, not on all rooms), beautiful garden with natural pool, Sauna and amazing view around. Real lovely place and the host (Elizabeth) is friendly and helpful.

It is a wonderful location and experience! Great staff members, great food, great room, great spa options. Only one hour from Vienna, but it helps disconnect and relax. I will go back for sure!

This apartment is amazing. The facilities are excellent, a modern residence in an old house. We just had to g’et used to the fact that everything was open-area, kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom in a large room. However, the toilet is on it’s own 😀. Lovely large balcony. The village it-selskab is a bit dull, but surrounded by vineyards and from the bedroom window it overbookes the beautiful monastery of Stift Göttweig.
