The Gast House Zell am See is located in Zell am See, 5.1 km from Zell am See-Kaprun Golf Course and 49 km from Bad Gastein Railway Station. The hotel was very clean, silent, not too high up to hills, so it was fine to reach from the train station with luggage. The breakfast was really really good. The staff was great and there were free drinks being offered on the room and downstairs.

Everything was perfect. Right on the slope, perfect for a family with small kids so you can return to the room anytime and the other parent still ski with the rest of family and you can take turns easily. Location was the key, plus a pool and sauna and a playroom.

Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from... The room was more than I expected, lovely view of Salzburg from the hill that Maria Plain sits on. Roomy and well kitted out. Property is well maintained and sufficient parking outside the hotel. Breakfast was adequate and plenty of choices.
