I really really did not want to leave this hotel. It is real 5 star, with excellent service and immaculate facilities. We felt like we were in a beautiful Poirot film. At breakfast, when the chef heard I could not have dairy, he explained to me personally what I could take, and without asking brought out new tongs and a fresh pan to remove any chance of contamination and cook eggs for me fresh. No one has ever done that for me before. I also saw a very nervous small child worried about choosing food, and one very kind waitress showing him the cocopops and other kid-friendly foods with great care and time. I wish I had had such help as a child. And the cake bar was great too.

This place is absolutely EXCEPTIONAL. My husband and I have had the opportunity to travel a lot and visit wonderful hotels around the world, and this place is by far among the top three we have ever visited. Every single thing about it is beyond excellent (especially the wonderful staff) but what sets it apart is the level of attention to details. Apart from Hue being a great place to visit, the hotel is a dream destination in itself, and if you have the opportunity, please do yourself a favor and do not miss the chance to enjoy this piece heaven on earth.
