The room had a tasteful design and everything looked high quality: we felt like kings in a luxury apartment 🙂. The staff was very nice and helpful, the breakfast was rich and diverse and we had a nice view from our window/terace. Our only regret was that we stayed only one night, as we were in transit. We highly recommand Velvet Home!

This contemporary styled hotel in Vatra Dornei is a good base and halfway point between Sighisoria and Gura Humourului travelling via the spectacular Tihuta Pass. Undeground car park a big bonus. Rooms were excellent as was our evening meal in the hotel and breakfast the following morning. The 100 leu allowance for breakfast for two people more than adequate. Staff all very friendly and welcoming.

We had an excellent stay! The place looked better than the photos, everything was really clean, comfortable beds, very friendly staff. The breakfast was very good and with enough options also for the kids. We recommend this place to everyone and can't wait to come back!
