We enjoyed the Butler breakfast. We liked being able to go through the garden area and cross the street to visit Kilkenny Castle. Butler House was richly appointed and is of historical value. The staff was very accommodating, and the location could not be beat. We would not hesitate to come back for a visit.

I love this place and I always booked when available in Kilkenny. Is the best that you can get in the city. Better than anything. It s a very luxurious, warm, quiet place, with amazing views of the city. You have everything you need just down the apartment from restaurants, coffee shops, hairdressers, and Dunnes stores. Is an amazing, huge apartment, decorated to the smallest details. With plenty of towels, toilet paper, shower gel, washing powder, coffee, milk, and bread. Literary dream place. And the owner is such a sweetheart, a really lovely person, always responds to any request and does anything to make your stay brilliant. thank you

The welcome was very warm and kind. She showed us a room where we could have a drink whenever we wanted and with nice Easter eggs. The room was very spacious and very clean, not to mention the excellent bedding where once under the comforter you didn't want to move. The bathroom with shower was perfect and bright and very clean with different elements for comfort. The breakfast was very copious and with fresh products. Honestly I can't think of a single negative point. Our host gave us information for visits in the area and explanations on different sites to visit. Very luxuriously decorated with a little outside area and fully equipped kitchen. Everything wws very clean. And lots of books! One of the nicest showers I've ever had, it was like a 5 star hotel. We could park in front of the house, enjoy the beautiful surroundings and be 15 minutes away from Kilkenny City center. The full Irish was far better than we expected. Very good quality. And a large choice of alternatives. All staff. Night and day very helpful nothing to much trouble. Good onsite parking. And easy short walk access to Kilkenny city. Will definitely be back on our next visit. Thank you to the staff that make hotels like this a pleasure to stay in Thankyou.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is elegant, yet also not so upscale that it makes you feel out of place. An old building means smaller rooms however we found it perfect for us and our needs. Breakfast both mornings was perfect, both in taste and presentation. The hotel’s location is also perfect, closely located in the main intersection of town and within walking distance of everything. We'll definitely come again!
