If you want luxury with a million dollar view this is the place to stay! The house felt like a home with all the amenities needed. The view is absolutely to die for and the hostess Amalia was beautiful, friendly and accomodating. Amalia’s home became our home for a 8 nights and we as a family were able to create magical holiday memories. Ven Mar is exactly as seen in pictures but equipped with more … small touches such as wine, coffee, Cretan honey, snacks and food were an added bonus. The walk (10 min) to Platanias main strip and beaches is a little hilly however I, who don’t consider myself fit at all, managed it fine…. It actually added to the charm. We will definitely be visiting again and thank Amalia for creating such a wonderful space for us to enjoy our Cretan holiday.

we loved everything about it. it was quiet and very well connected to other beaches. it also had lots of leisure activities and restaurants. firstly we want to thank Jimmy and Maria who have been like family to us. we will never forget them and our stay here. they were so welcoming and friendly. The apartment is perfect, it has everything you need AC , TV and kitchen utensils and wifi if needed . It is also very quiet and walking distance from the beach. Platanias has everything you need from car rental to supermarkets and restaurants. it’s a lovely town. The apartment has a parking as well. you will not regret staying here. I totally recommend the location and the place. Jimmy and Maria, again thank you for everything and for making us feel like home. We will miss you!

Villa Sissy is one of the best appointed villas we have ever stayed in. The decor is fantastic, the location is right beside the main restaurants and shops without being overlooked or noisy and the host is amazing! We have stayed in a lot of villas throughout Crete and Villa Sissy is by FAR the best of them all. If you are fortunate enough to find availability, you should book immediately.

I would definitely recommend to anyone that is interested! The accommodation contains 2 villas that were very clean and spacious. We had a group of 17 and everyone was able to sleep comfortably. There was a lot of space around the villas which included a great sound system, table tennis, a basketball court, football goals, 2 pools and a lot of comfortable seating areas. We also enjoyed the bbq that was provided. From the time we booked the villas, the host Yiannis was extremely helpful and was very responsive to any queries that we had about the villas or just the island and activities in general. He also helped us immensely by reserving transportation for us throughout the stay.
