The apartment was beautiful, practically new and very clean. It had everything we needed for our three day stay, including a comfortable double bed, a fully equipped kitchen and big screen tv. It's located a few hundred meters from the beach and the centre of Matala. The owners were very helpful and polite. We will definitely visit again!

Beautiful property in a fabulous location. The main bedroom especially, the bathrooms, the pool, the balcony, even the roof under the stars! All superb. The family owners at the connected hotel were all of them kind, thoughtful, helpful, friendly - marvellous. Check-in was simple, we were shown round in person, any requests were handled promptly and expertly (there weren't many!). The accommodation was spotless with many fine touches. Very easy to just move in and feel at home. Breakfast at the hotel was a treat with fresh eggs, multiple Greek style vegetable bakes and the freshest of freshly squeezed orange juice. The Owners also put on free live music evenings and were very generous with the Amaretto Sours. If ever we were to visit Crete again, this would the first place we would visit.

The appartment is huge, quite, very well decorated and furnished, and it has a huge balcony with the most spectacular ocean view. Fully equipped kitchenette. Free sunbeds, umbrellas and parking is available. Very friendly host (received goodbye gifts from mom). Beach with shower is right in front of the house. The fish restaurant is in the basement, but you don't hear it in the appartment. Other restaurants and shops are in walking distance.
