Zoku Paris is an excellent place to stay if you spend more than 2-3 days in Paris. We booked it first for 2 nights and decided to stay for one more week because the facilities were just great. We even wanted to stay for 2 more weeks but there were no more available rooms. The room is not very big but it makes use of the space in the best possible way, with closets and drawers everywere and the stairs to the bed that can be closed when you don't need them. There are big windows from the floor to the ceiling (an entire wall of the room is made up of windows) which disguise the size of the room, making it seem a lot bigger. The small kitchenette has all the necessary items for preparing all kinds of meals, including some oil, salt, pepper, sugar, frying pans, pots, laddle, whisk, forks, knives (good ones that cut), glasses, cups, etc. You can find even Julia Child's cooking book and get some ideas for French recipes. And if you need some extra utensils, there is the "Ali Baba cave" on each floor where you can borrow mixers, extra pots, vacuum cleaners, ironing board, etc. Also there is a small but well equipped gym at the 8th floor where you can do some workout. At the same floor there is a restaurant and a common area where you can drink your coffee/tea while working on your laptop, the same as in the pictures on the site. We had a car so we were afraid about the parking place, but there is a side street about 100 m from the entrance into the building where there was always space for parking, cost-free. If you come as a turist for a short time it is a little far from the city center, about one-hour walk to the Eiffel tower, but there are means of public transport close by. There are also 2 stores on the left and on the right side of the entrance in the building where you can get almost anything and there is a very nice boulangerie across the street where you can get fresh baguettes or pastries.

We had heard about the bed bug infestation in Paris and were worried, but when we walked into the room our concerns were laid to rest. They rooms were modern and clean and you can immediately tell they take the guests' safety seriously. Typical of a room in Paris the room was on the small side, but there's a huge common area by the reception (two actually) where they offer non-alcoholic drinks complimentary for guests. As a part of our daily routine there, I would quickly ready myself and let my wife have the room alone before we went about our day. So with this hotel I had "my own" private place to go to, read and sip on my morning coffee. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the location is close to everything but not in the middle of everything - if you know what I mean. It really ticks off all the boxes and more.
