The apartment layout is exactly what we look for. Open plan, bright and clean. The kitchen area is spacious and is equipped with everything we needed. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe and storage space. Perfect for longer stays. Outside space is important to us as we like to spend as much time as possible outdoors. This not only has a lovely spacious balcony, but also the added bonus of a private roof terrace, both equipped with comfortable furniture. Pauline and Andrzej were very professional regarding contacting us with prior arrangements and constantly kept in touch about servicing the apartment etc. The location is convenient for local supermarkets and only a short walk to the sea front bars and restaurants.

We stayed at Sotavent for 4 weeks and the apartment had absolutely everything required for any length of stay. The apartment is extremely clean, it has a fully stocked kitchen with everything necessary to cook up a storm together with a washing machine and dishwasher. There is air conditioning in the lounge and kitchen and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. An office chair is also provided so it is ideal for remote working ((the Wi-Fi is very strong and is secure). There are two balconies, the front balcony has rattan furniture together with a table and chairs, it has the sun until mid afternoon and overlooks the pool with the Red Mountain in the distance. The second balcony accessed directly off the lounge is smaller but is a sun trap from mid afternoon with great sunset views. The airport is very close but because of the apartment’s location the noise is minimal. The pool is very quiet (the apartment provides two sun chairs and beach towels) - it is not heated but we swam most days (February/March) The grounds are very secure and can only be accessed using keys, the grounds are also very well tended and the whole complex is very clean. The 470 bus stops directly outside of the apartment, just a few minutes into El Medano with a good selection of restaurants. Los Cristianos is at the far end of the route in the opposite direction. The buses are reliable and good value, we did also use taxis and there is a cab rank outside of La Tejita Shopping centre a few minutes from the apartment. There is a good selection of restaurants in the small centre together with a bar, coffee shops and a great little supermarket. There is also an ATM. The small beach adjacent to the excellent Chringuito Pirata bar is about 5 or 6 minutes walk away. Sagra was fantastic- staying in touch before we arrived and texting once or twice to ensure all was ok (it was!) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to family and friends - we may well return in the future 😊

We're just back from a 2 week stay in El Médano (April/May) and had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful and spotless. It has everything you need for short and long term stays. The top balcony and main bedroom has lovely views, the 2nd bedroom has a balcony with a drying line for clothes, and the downstairs outdoor area has a table to sit/eat at and access to the underground garage. The pool is big, clean and surrounded by other apartments and gardens but has no sunloungers so we took our own chairs. It gets the sun the entire day, some days our kids were in the pool from morning until half 7 at night! Make sure to bring the kids some water socks as it can be a bit slippy around the poolside. The beach and main square is an easy 5/10 min walk away. Loads of lovely shops and very reasonably priced restaurants. Make sure to try the Mexican place! El Médano is much quieter and less touristy than surrounding towns and gives off a bit of a chilled, hippy vibe which we loved. There's a boardwalk to the end of the beach which finishes and then takes you across the beach and onto Montana Roja and the beautiful beach on the other side. Loads of windsurfers and kite surfers at the far end. You can rent boards in a few shops in town. The bus stop and supermarket is just at the end of the street with Aldi, Mercadona, Lidl, McDonald's etc a 5 min car journey away. There is a market on most days in nearby towns. The abandoned leper village is 15 mins car ride away and makes for an interesting morning. Palmetum, a botanical palm garden an hour away is beautiful and so worth a visit. Buy a twin ticket and you have access to the huge swimming pool with restaurants and free parking beside it. Tom was very helpful when sending info regarding the house. We had no issues during our stay so didn't need to contact him but it was reassuring to know there was someone nearby to help if needed.

The apartment is located in a quiet location. It is part of a complex that also has a heated swimming pool. The apartment has a very large terrace overlooking the pico del Teide and Montana Roja, ideal for relaxing and serving food. The living room with kitchen is spacious and fully equipped. What I liked most was that there was a dishwasher and washing machine in the apartment. That's how we felt at home ... :)

In quiet area, beds were very comfortable, lots of space, 2 mins from the beach where we could snorkel. 2 outside balconies, could eat breakfast on the balcony. Plenty of parking outside in the road. 2 bathrooms. Bath and shower. Kitchen fully equipped. Short 10min walk to town where you can buy icecreams, go for dinner to eat fresh fish and do some shopping. Good supermarket 10mins walk away or a pricey one 2 mins away in the hotel next the the sea.

Was like having a home away from home.We traveled with our 2 little boys 2 & 4 everything was like we expected, Veronica was super helpful even got us some beach toys for the boys… really helped as the 1000 of toys we got from home were never enough.😅 Swimming pool was at a nice temperature for us we spent some late mornings and afternoon there, kids love it. What I most like is how close everything is from the apartment and to be fair the building that everyone is talking about in the previous reviews isn’t noise at all and our kids really enjoyed looking at the cranes 😅 Definitely planning our next stay next year Enjoy 😉

All the staff - especially Antonio at Reception and Yeray (spelling?) - who fixed the hotel wifi and room hot/ cold issues were exceptional.
