Amazing location. You get the castle to yourself. Thunderstorm at night we stayed lit up the room, four poster bed, suits of armour and antique furnishings with lightning. Very Hammer Horror like! Views over the town and river with walking in a riverside park and footpath were ideal for dog. Parking is inside the castle behind the portcullis.

In a remote country side, old fashion hotel but clean. Restaurant is worth visiting.

Spacious rooms, quiet, comfy bed, nice staff and communicative location. Some strange dimmed lightning in the rooms but me like. :)

Good location, plenty of motelo park spots. Clean and nice rooms. The employees were very friendly and helped us with our questions from the app with lightning speed. really loved the service. even with the covid restrictions everything was perfect.
