Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. We had the Lodge and the team for ourselves for two days. What a privilege! But also when other guests arrived for the two consecutive nights, the service level remained equally high. The whole team was out to make our stay special, from our guide Honest, who we shared some deep insights with: about the world in general and animals in particular. Pauline and Neo looked after all our service needs, while the chef and her team prepared one creative meal after the next. Even though we had a rainy and cold winter day, the team did their best to produce sunshine through their service, bringing lunch to the villa or providing a nice welcome drink by the fire after the game drive. The hide next to the villa, equipped with tea, coffee and cold drinks, was an extra benefit. We certainly enjoyed the different herds wandering through from the comfortable hide. The Villas, in a contemporary but comfortable style, cater d to all our needs, from an evening by the fireplace with a glass of wine to the morning tea. All that in a stylish, but warm and friendly environment. We certainly would consider Rockfig for another stay!

Located 36 km from Eagle Canyon Country Club, Remhoogte Mountain Lodge offers a garden, a shared lounge and air-conditioned accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The accommodation features a hot tub. Our 2 apartments were amazing and very spacious.

Impodimo Game Lodge provides luxury accommodation with private deck in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve.

The air-conditioned suites at Impodimo Game Lodge are decorated in neutral tones and offer a fireplace and en suite bathroom with additional outdoor shower. Do not hesitate – book this property right away! It was by far the most exceptional travel we have ever done (and we travel quite a bit). The lodge is absolutely gorgeous and I’d like to highlight that the pictures DO NOT do justice to the actual look of the place. The safari rides are exceptional and Madikwe is truly a beautiful reserve. From game drives, to brunch, high tea, dinner, massage, library with tons of books, chessboards available for random games, swimming pools, lounges around the lodge… you will never be bored and will be left with tons of memories. Finally to conclude - we would like to particularly highlight the STAFF, possibly the best experience we ever had. Our ranger Ryan has shown exceptional professionalism & impeccable service in everything he was doing. We were touched by his passion for his job and animals, and truly felt like we were going on drives with a living encyclopedia, amazing! We always felt safe during the rides and overall very well taken care of – from the first moment we got to know him, to the “good-mood wake up calls at 4:30am”, until the very last transfer to our airplane back to Johannesburg where he “winged at us” while we were taking off. Linda has been wonderful in welcoming us to the property, teaching us about baboons and elephants around the lodge and joking around with us. Spa, the executive chef, delivered the most amazing dishes, showed us the wine cave and was really looking after every experience with great attention and amiability. The overall staff taking care of the kitchen and rooms were wonderful with a true 5 stars attention to detail and care, with a welcome drink at any point in time. You know what we mean when one week after the trip, we are STILL talking about the Impodimo lodge and its wonderful team. Thank you!

Milorho Lodge is located in the Rietfontein area near Rustenburg on the slopes of the Magaliesburg mountains. It offers self-catering cottages.

A sun terrace is available on site and both cycling, rock pools and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of Milorho Lodge. Kiaat Lodge was beautiful and peaceful. There was nothing not to like

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Ukutula Lion Lodge is located in Brits. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning and a terrace. There is a full a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator. The private bathroom comes with a shower and a hairdryer. You can enjoy garden view from the room. The staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly. Thank you to the two ladies reception/tuck shop. It was a pleasure. The accomodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We had dinner served in our room, food was fabulous!

Located in Brits, Mokuru Private Nature Reserve provides pool views and free WiFi, 18 km from Dikhololo Game Reserve and 27 km from Hartbeeshoek Nature Reserve.

Vaalkop Dam Nature Reserve is 38 km from the lodge, while Borakalalo National Park is 47 km away. The nearest airport is Wonderboom Airport, 92 km from Mokuru Private Nature Reserve. Stunning venue, clean, safe, private and fantastically equipped. Staff were super efficient, friendly and incredibly helpful. Beautiful rooms, entertainment setup, braai area and views from the top of the main camp. Extremely well maintained with lovely pathways and gardens. Fantastic stay. Kudos to the entire team at Mokuru.
