Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. Loved this gem of a place! Everything was absolutely stunning.

Located 47 km from Addo National Elephant Park, Harmony Luxury Tented Camp offers accommodation with free WiFi and seating area. Private massive tent with great views from the porch. We unfortunately arrived in the rain and left in the rain, so the birdwatching I hoped for was a little dampened. Fortunate rain for all the animals plants and people of the bushveld tho! The owners are gracious and helpful - and such good cooks. Despite the downpours and wind, we slept warm and dry in our unique accommodation. Would love to visit again on a sunny day!

Featuring mountain views, Ikwanitsha Lodge in Paterson features accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The lodge has individual chalets, very separated from each other. It offers a privacy and has everything you need for a very relaxing stay. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, the chalets are comfortable, have a fridge filled with refreshments, WIFI is superb. But best of all is the spectacular view. You can sit on the terrace of your chalet and keep watching the beautiful landscape, mountains, valleys and spectacular stars at night. There is a family style dinner served in the evening and a very pleasant breakfast. The place also has some zebras. I enjoyed every minute of my stay.A very good base for the Addo Elephant park and I enjoyed also the Scotia safari.

Although most staff were on strike and there was nearby unrest, the working staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Providing river views, African Safari Lodge in Grahamstown provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Our experience at this lodge was hands down wonderful. The room was spacious&clean and had an amazing view to the river. The nature around was beautiful. The whole experience felt really private. We booked a guided tour and a game drive which was also very private. The ranger who ran the activities was simply wonderful. He shared his deep knowledge in flora & fauna, we really enjoyed our time with him. We saw a variety of animals, not only on the guided tours but as well as just walking around property. The value for money is just insanely good. +The food was delicious! Best wishes to Dean & Fay who really cared to make our time at the lodge memorable. Would love to come back. Thank you!

Located in Addo, Charihandra Game Lodge features free WiFi throughout, air conditioning and private parking is available on-site. Guests can enjoy swimming at the outdoor pool. The place is a true gem, we absolutley loved it. Had a fantastic time. Our toddler loved running around, entering the swimming pool and even got lucky to meet Lucy the giraffe. The food was amazing. My husband has celiac and he had so much great options to eat. We had a problem with the car on the way and the staff were super friendly, helpful and available for us. So happy we had the oppurtunity to stay in this great place. Thank you!

Located in Graaff-Reinet, Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve by NEWMARK provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. We stayed in Pod 1. We highly recommend the Pods for a truly unique experience. the lodge is beautiful but spending the night on the mountain is unmatchable. It’s a 40 minute drive from the Lodge to the Pods but it’s spectacular.

Offering panoramic views of the Zuurberg Mountain Range, Camp Figtree by The Oyster Collection features a variety of game drives, safaris and game walks. The view from the mountains is amazing. There is a nice pool and relaxing area. We had a dinner also with this view. The rooms are pretty, all made us to feel good!! We had a small Kia Picanto rental car, very small one. Luckily it was not rainy season, so it was no problem to go up with this car, we had to drive slow and carefully and all was fine!!! The hotel is not far from Addo National Park, so before heading there we made a 2 hour driving from the northern entrance of the park and we saw many elephants and other animals.
