Wat Phra That Mae Yen is 2.6 km from the lodge, while The World War 2 bridge is 10 km away. The nearest airport is Mae Hong Son Airport, 110 km from Monko Mini room. It was like being in a Wes Anderson movie. Extremely well designed everything. The window looks out onto the mountains and you can spend hours staring at the view from the bed. The bed is very soft and comfy. The duvets are warm (it can get a bit chilly at night, so don’t be shy to ask for a second one). The most picturesque place I’ve ever stayed in, hands down.
