Located in Jiquilisco Bay, El Salvador's largest coastal estuary, Puerto Barillas offers its guests an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool surrounded by tropical gardens. Beautiful property situated by Juilisco Bay. The area was peaceful and the hospitality was top notch. Boat and kayak rentals are available, or you could just to just let the time pass by on a hammock. Carry plenty of sunscreen, insect repellant (natural as far as possible) and water, although they are all available at a slightly marked up price in a shop within the property. Part of the road leading to the property is unpaved but it is accessible by sedans/ smaller cars.
