Kiruna Train Station is 23 km from the lodge, while Kiruna Bus Station is 21 km from the property. The nearest airport is Kiruna, 17 km from Camp Caroli, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. I liked absolutely everything. Great experience of escaping from the city and being among nature. Stefan is a great host! We also took a snowmobile tour and enjoyed winter activities. Also, from the house along the lake you can walk in an hour to the ice hotel, and along the way you can enjoy the snow, mountains, forest and beautiful views. I hope that we will return to Camp Caroli once again to see the northern lights again and live this experience away from the city alone with nature.

We loved everything about this place and its surroundings. Great place for both one night stayover or for longer holiday.

The property features mountain and river views, and is 13 km from Piteå Golf Club. Staying at the lodge was a great experience. Both Joakim and Marten are very nice and at hand for any support. The sauna was the cherry on the cake and a great experience to heat it yourself, get warm water for showering from it etc.

Boasting free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as hiking, skiing and fishing. This property is absolutely beautiful and in such a remote but stunning setting. Would recommend a car but we had no issues with the roads despite the snowfall. We stayed only one night with our two daughters (4,2) and found everything as we needed. The house itself is beautiful and so thoughtfully decorated. We spent the morning enjoying the snow and taking advantage of the kicksleds and sleds that were available that the kids absolutely loved. Lots of opportunities to spot wildlife too although we unfortunately didn’t spot any local roaming Moose. Look forward to returning. The host was super attentive and was on hand if needed.

A good weekend to de-stress before back to work at nearby Lulea. Would happily go back to see the stars hopefully. Very friendly hosts and good communication by 'phone.

Offering rooms with a lake view and modern furnishings, this property is 22 km from Kiruna and 35 minutes’ drive from Nikkaluokta. It features a cosy, bookable restaurant cabin with a personal chef. WiFi and parking are free. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.
