Big stuga, big bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, tv, perfect view on the lake, nice owner, car place. All in all, we wished we could stay more to enjoy it. Definitely a place to come back to.

We had a very nice vacation in Åre Lodge. Everything was there for a great ski holiday: there was a nice bath for relaxing after long ski day and also the sauna. The kitchen had all the facilities we needed for preparing and serving the food. We traveled with a dog and there were plenty of places to walk with him. And of course the amazing views from the place 🙂

The magnificent mountain view just right out the "stuga". The mountain river is just 50 meters away from "stuga" with nice fishing spots. Quite nice mountain hiking possibilities, not too hard and not too easy. It is possible, if there is a desire, to walk ~2 km to a super nice restaurant and have an awesome dinner.

El Höglunda Gård B&B Lantgård se encuentra en Skanderåsen, en la región de Jämtland, a 60 km de Östersund, y ofrece barbacoa y parque infantil. This is a true gem. Olov and Christina made us feel very welcome, it was like staying with friends. The breakfast is excellent. Make sure to have dinner there as well, the food is outstanding! We stayed in a very picturesque “herbre” close to the water. The beds were very comfortable and we slept like logs. No running water in the “herbre”, but that was easy to deal with since there is a bathroom in the main building nearby.
