Located just 40 km from Girao Cape, Victoria Ocean View Room provides accommodation in Ponta do Pargo with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as a 24-hour front desk. It was a perfect ending for our hike through the island. Wine, electric fireplace, and magnificent view to the sunset in Atlantic Ocean. The place also has a small pool with a view to the ocean, but it was too cold for us to try it. The housekeeper, Maria, was very nice and helpful.

Casinhas da Laurissilva has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in São Vicente, 21 km from Girao Cape. The location, forest, Encumeada, road, views, people, locals and visitors, all felt so calming, relaxed, like floating above the buzz at the coast. The private waterfall was spectacular, compared to the crowded public locations. We were looking for a secluded cottage in the woods and this place was a perfect fit. (cherry on top, we were alone at the location until the last night and the weather was perfect whole stay)
