This was the highlight of my visit to Peru. I arrived on the Titicaca train in the early evening, and a driver had been organized to drive me to the local port, where I was escorted by Juan, an exceptional host in every sense of the word, to the island which he and his father had built. During my stay there, Juan invited me on mini tours around some of the islands, where I learned more about Uros culture and history. The Peruvian meals prepared by his wife Amalia were exceptional- always on time, delicious, substantial and inviting. I was never hungry. Juan ensured that my stay at Amalia was truly exceptional and something which I'll never forget- watching the starry nights from a comfortable and warm bed, enjoying the sounds of silence of the lake, being mesmerized by the sunsets, and learning more about the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. This was truly an amazing experience!

The nice view and amazing facilities in our room. There are transfer from private port to lodge. I'm enjoying my tea time at terrace with sunshine. Carols take us to a sunset boat trip and provided a traditional dressed to us. We stay warm at night even outside is very cold.

We stayed one night with Caesar and Lucy as part of our family trip. We were received with great hospitality, the rooms were comfortable and ample. The food is home cooked and delicious and even our children aged 8 to 13 liked it.

Ivan and his family take care of every guest. He helped me with tours and transportation and shared so much about the life of the Uros people. Overall truly authentic and unique experience. Located on Uros floating island, Uros Summa Paqari is situated in Puno, 7 km from Titicaca Lake. Puno Port is 5 km away. All rooms are fitted with private bathroom facilities. The family that runs the property is very communicative and personable. They share about their experience living in Uros and it really enhances the authenticity of the stay. Very peaceful.

Located 5 km off the coast of Puno and built on the Uros floating islands, Uros Qhantany Lodge offers accommodations in the middle of Lake Titicaca. The coast of Puno is a 30-minute sail away. A very lovely location with lovely people. The food was good and the family that worked on the small island were very nice to us.

I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.
