Rooms are large and comfortable with views of the snow-capped Cordillera Blanca. The restaurant is excellent and sources many of its ingredients from the property's expansive organic garden. Staff are wonderful, especially general manager Daniel, who catered to absolutely every need and was welcoming, friendly, and professional. He even arranged for a fantastic masseuse to come to the property as I recovered from a trek. I enjoyed touring the gardens and finding a peaceful spot by the river behind the hotel where I took a nap. 10/10 would recommend, and I'll definitely be back again!

Everything! We absolutely loved to stay in this beautiful place, the views are stunning,the food is delicious, the staff are so kind and attentive, the tents are spaciois and have comfortable beds. You have free acces to tea and water throughout the day and the Domes offer additional beverages to buy once there. It is outside of the city Huaraz, but it makes sense to stay here as you have easy acces to so many unknown and beatiful lakes and walking routes. Staying here was an absolut highligt of our trip and we left wanting to stay there longer.

With mountain views, Casa Pukayaku Lodge is set in Caraz and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. We had the absolute BEST time at Casa Pukayaku. We had originally booked an airbnb in Huaraz on our way to Cordillera Blanca, but were unhappy the way it turned out. We widened our location search and found this gem of a BnB on a mountainside in Caraz. Bely and Jorje were incredibly wonderful hosts (and amazing at karaoke!). The food was excellent, the artisanal beer was delicious, and overall ambiance was a dream. This is a perfect place to stay if you are looking to hike the Cordillera Blanca mountains.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, The Lazy Dog Inn is situated 7 km from Huaraz, and 3,650 metres above sea level. Almost all units include a balcony and/or patio. I loved everything about the Lazy Dog. Location is quiet with gorgeous views. Staff and owners super friendly, customer-service oriented, and flexible. Breakfast delicious.

The first half of our trip was not smooth until we met them... Since the minute we were dropped off from the collectivo after crazy road ride from Yungay and saw welcoming hand wave everything has changed to completely opposite positive side! They've changed the whole mood of our adventure and gave us mental support we needed to finish what we have planned. I cannot describe this couple - you have to meet them! Extremely friendly, smart, fun, unique people who we did not want to leave neither for the night nor next morning! Not to mention their beautiful donkey Benicio that I fell in love with and gorgeous cat that most likely has a "blue blood".
