Set in tranquil surroundings with large landscaped grounds and a picturesque garden terrace with mountain views, Tongariro Crossing Lodge offers uniquely spacious rooms with historic character. The staff provided exceptional guidance so that we could take stunning views of the mountains during sunset. Very high quality breakfast. Overall, exceeded my expectations in this rather remote/resource limited (to a city person at least) location.

Ruapehu Country Lodge ligger inom 15 minuters bilresa från Tongariro National Park, där det världsberömda Tongariro Crossing ligger. Wi-Fi är gratis. The breakfast is super nice! Various choices and all of them tastes so good. The hosts are very friendly and kind, makes us feel like a home. We arrived late and they are so caring, helped us with food and heater etc. The animals are so adorable, and the garden is pretty - suitable for a morning walk. Really appreciate Bernie & Marie's hosting! We had a nice stay and hope we can go back and meet you guys soon. :)

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. It was warm, clean, nice and cosy! The room was clean and pleasantly warm - much appreachated at that time! Shared space was very nice, well-organised. Always smiling lady gave us good advice what to see despite not very good weather-thank you :)

Set in the heart of National Park, Pipers Lodge boasts an onsite bar and restaurant. Guests can socialise in the shared lounge and warm up by the fireplace. Everything is Good and comfy the staff’s their are so friendly and they will assist you right away, they also have free breakfast and also hot coffee and chocolate

Tui Glen erbjuder en terrass och utsikt över trädgården och ligger i Raurimu, 21 km från Taranaki Falls och 27 km från Whakapapa. I found it an amazing property! It's like a little house. I very much enjoyed the stay. The covered deck and the bush were really good.

Alpine Chalets has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in National Park. Perfect location within the National Park, best view of the volcanos (weather dependent) and a very, very kind host.

Pukenui Lodge ligger i nationalparken Manawatu och har en grill och utsikt över bergen. Till Turangi är det 41 km. Både WiFi och gästparkering ingår utan extra kostnad. Great location, beautiful landscapes, great value lodging, helpful staff

Kings Ohakune har fantastisk utsikt över Mount Ruapehu, 2 bubbelpooler och en restaurang med ett stort däck. Perfect location. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice and warm. The heater was already on for our arrival. Everything you need for a nice stay. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for anything more!! The spa pools were fantastic!!

Howards Lodge ligger i National Park Village, mindre än 15 km från Mount Ruapehu. Här erbjuds en gästlounge med en öppen spis. WiFi är gratis. Been waiting for quite a while for check-in which was frustrating. The room is comfortable with unexpectedly larger than i thought which is a bonus. Shower with good water pressure.
