Situated in Marahau, 38 km from Nelson, Abel Tasman Lodge features a hot tub and sauna. Abel Tasman National Park is within a 5-minute walk from the property. Free unlimited WiFi as well as free off-road parking is available. Amazing location right at the entrance to the park, super comfortable room, facilities to cool dinner as we didn’t want to drive to a nearby town for a restaurant, tasty packed lunch for our day in the park and great hospitality.

The wonderful open kitchen (with a few thoughtful ingredients to help ourselves to) and common areas, beautiful garden, kindness of staff and comfortable room as well as modern bathroom.

Situated in the heart of Pohara Beach at Golden Bay, Ratanui Lodge was fully refurbished in winter 2021, it offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and free continental breakfast in a beautiful natural setting. It boasts a saltwater swimming pool, a restaurant and a lounge bar. Very well appointed room in lovely location and our restaurant meal was excellent. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with activities in the area.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, The Sanctuary at The Havens Motueka River Valley is located in Tasman. This lodge features a garden, barbecue facilities, free WiFi and free private parking. Sue and Richard were wonderful. They took good care of us and their bungalow was perfect for us as a family. Every little aspect was thought of, from freshly baked bread to opportunities to see sheep sheering and hike into the mountain. The view from the balcony was breathtaking.

Offering unlimited free WiFi and bicycle hire against a charge, The Pear Orchard Lodge is situated on a farm and orchard close to Richmond and the Abel Tasman National Park. Nelson is a 20-minute drive from the property. Quaint, country lifestyle and really comfortable place.

Boasting a lovely outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and free Wi-Fi, The Bay Lodge offers stunning views over Golden Bay and the Millennium Reserve.

The Bay Lodge in Pohara is a 10-minute walk from Pohara Beach. Nelson Domestic Airport is less than 2 hours’ drive away. Filip and Sonya were fabulous hosts-very hospitable and generous with information and recommendations. The shuttle service to Abel Tasman made a day tramping in the park seamless. We enjoyed the accommodations so much we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay by one day. Pōhara is an excellent location for visiting the Golden Bay and I can’t recommend the Bay Lodge highly enough.

Guests have access to a shared outdoor dining area with open fireplace. Electric bikes and kayaks are available for guests to hire. Generous breakfast provisions are placed in the fridge the night before, including eggs from the properties own chickens, ham/salmon and fresh fruit. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. Great locations. Wonderful views of the ocean and the pond with lots of birds.

Dummy Bay Beach is 400 metres from the lodge, while Little Kaiteriteri Beach is less than 1 km from the property. The nearest airport is Nelson, 56 km from the property and a paid airport shuttle service is available. It suited our needs perfectly and was in a great location

With mountain views, Alpine Lodge is set in Saint Arnaud and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden and children's playground. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge.

Alpine Lodge offers a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with free toiletries, a hairdryer and shower. There is also a kitchen in some of the units equipped with a microwave, a stovetop, and a toaster. A very nice room, built almost entirely by pinewood. The room is clean, tidy and well-equipped. Staffs are friendly.

Set in Pakawau, Whare Aroha: Retreat to Wellness offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and sea views.
