There were enormous sliding windows opening on to a terrace with outdoor furniture. The view from the accommodation was a magnificent range of mountains.

Love the cute native birds in garden and their songs, amazing view from the balcony, delicious homemade cookies and the hosts are very friendly, responsive and attentive.

Spires Barn Lodge ligger på en 4,5 hektar stor egendom i utkanten av staden Christchurch och omges av stora trädgårdar. Både WiFi och gästparkering ingår utan extra kostnad. The environment is very peaceful. The house feels so comfy. The Host was very kind and friendly ☺️. We got everything we needed, a very recommended place to stay! Thank you so much!

Easy to walk both to Kaikoura & South Bay & other tracks. Our host was very responsive & kind. Should we ever find ourselves in Kaikoura again, we would definitely stay here again.
