Maykel and his family make you feel so welcome and taken care of. I stayed in the upper room with an amazing terrace overlooking the lake. It was comfortable and peaceful. I was able to organize a private kayaking tour as well as schedule an hour massage on my terrace! I enjoyed staying in this area of the island as it was more remote (close to San Ramon waterfall) and I found it interesting to explore around Maderas volcano and see the local’s way of life. Do note that if you rent a scooter, the roads on the “Maderas side” of the island are gravel/rock. Use a LOT of caution while driving in this area! Or spend a bit more and rent an ATV for added safety. Highly recommend staying at The Jungle when visiting Ometepe.

The breakfast was simple and sweet. The owner Gianni is very cool and always do his best to make sure that we feel comfortable.

Offering a restaurant and a bar, Ecolodge Blue Morpho is located 8 km from Cardenas, only 150 metres from the shore of Lago Nicaragua. This is one of my favorite lodgings during my long travels through Central America. The hosts were exceptional, the meals exquisite, and the space wonderful. The nature surrounding the lodge was an amazing respite from the busy cities. Waking to the sound of howler monkeys and the waves along the shores of Lake Cocibolca was magical.

We had the most wonderful stay at 99 Surflodge. The accommodation is stunning, the food is delicious and the staff is really friendly! The rooms are really comfortable, I would definitely recommend staying here!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Totoco Eco-Project is located in Balgue. Free WiFi access is available in public areas of this lodge. This place is secluded and has the best view I’ve seen in ometepe. The sunsets are second to none! The pool is nice to have and the cabin view as are amazing ! Would definitely recommend this place !!

Terletak di San Juan del Sur di kawasan Rivas Region dan Pantai San Juan del Sur yang boleh disampai dalam 0-minit berjalan kaki, 2 bedroom cottage, 3 blocks from beach and center of San Juan... The cottage was great and clean. Close 5 minute walk to the beach and the staff was very nice. It had a fridge and cooking supplies, which helped a lot.
