The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. If you’re looking for a peaceful and very relaxing experience I can’t recommend San Simian enough. Fantastic rooms, gardens, service and of course Laguna de Apoyo is a dream. Daniel the barman was right San Simian is Muy tranquilo!

Set in thatched buildings, the rooms at Hacienda Puerta del Cielo Eco Lodge & Spa feature a private patio with great views of the national park. Each one comes with a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The location was off road. We managed to book it when it was closed…..but the staff still made our room up and fed us. Top, top staff
