The guide is knowledgeable and makes every effort to find memorable wildlife encounters. This is our second time staying here and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an immersive jungle experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

GreenHouse Lodge asub Mantanani saarel ning pakub keskkonnasõbralikku majutust koos juurdepääsuga aiale. Amazing experience! Probably the most unique and beautiful places I have ever had the fortune to stay. Silk sand and crystal clear water! Sook Peng and Fred are wonderful and kind hosts who help to ensure a brilliant stay. They help to organize all the travel arrangements from your lodgings in Kota Kinabalu to the island via car and boat, and it all worked seamlessly. The food that Sook Peng cooked was simply fantastic and some of the best I have had during my whole trip. The lodge is very unique and they take their environmental responsibility very seriously. Staying on the island is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s completely deserted apart from a small village and there are lots of different activities one can do. (Kayak, snorkel, diving, guided walks). We did bonfires at night and spent the days in hammocks just meters from the beach as the local island cows wandered past.

Last Frontier Boutique Resort asub Bilitis, kaunist Sandakani tänavast 2-tunnise autosõidu kaugusel. one word: amazing! if you had the chance I would recommend to book this place! Jason Grent and the staff are very friendly, they have just 4 rooms so they take care of all their people! this is a true experience into Borneo wild life…we had a lucky meeting with an orangutan nearby the rooms! the eco resort is located up to a hill but is not difficult to go upstairs since you are incredibly absorbed in the nature! they organised everything perfectly: 2 boat trips and one trekking up to a hill (about 2,5h). You have enough time to rest. They also care a lot about our transfer at the check out to Semporna, we could not ask for more!! The food was also good, even if for me a little bit too “western”, banana pancakes and nasi goreng were special!! rooms are big essential and comfy. this experience is worth to do, just remind the Jungle itself is a little bit noisy special during the night, we slept well anyways. thanks again! I would come again!

D' Limbai Cottage asub Ranau's Sabah' piirkonnas. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Puhkemajakesel on terrass. Comfortable dining room with complete kitchen facilities. Comfortable and very clean room complete with iron, hair dryer,kettle. Stunning and wonderful view of Mount Kinabalu. Definitely will stay again. The owner/host very nice and helpful.

Nulu View Cabin asub Kundasangis Sabah' piirkonnas. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Mõnel majutusruumil on mäevaatega terrass ja/või rõdu. Majutusasutusel on grillimisvõimalusega aed. My friends and I was so happy and satisfied with stunning view of Mt. Kinabalu from window. Besides, the owner was so supportive and friendly. Highly recommended!!!

Kinabatangan Wildlife Lodge asub Sabah' piirkonnas Sandakanis. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Igas majutusruumis on privaatne vannituba, kus on vann, föön ja sussid. The room was really comfortable with everything needed. Good breakfast and dinner, there was enough food and it was good. The price for the dinner (35 MYR per person is very reasonable in my opinion, especially considering the remote location). We really enjoyed the river cruises. One of them was the highlight of our trip to Borneo as we got to see the herd of pigmy elephants. The boat driver/guide was very excited as well, he changed the position of the boat numerous times while we were watching the elephants so that we could do lots of wonderful photos.

Merevaatega Maglami-lami Water House asub Sempornas. Kohapeal on restoran. Privaatses vannitoas on bidee, sussid ja kõik muu vajalik. Puhkemajakesel on päikeseterrass. What a holidays I passed at maglami! I missed Maglami as soon as I left! The staff are cheerful and very friendly, available and caring for all travellers. Thank you so much for the few days I spent in your company, they were my best days in Malaysia! I'll be back to say hello every time I return to Malaysia. Thanks a lot for every maglami's members!

Howard has created a beautiful lodge intertwined with the surrounding environment, going above and beyond for any guests needs, the wildlife reserve he has created is fantastic for bird spotting and if you're lucky enough to be there when he does his edible and medicinal plants tour and traditional rungus lunch don't hesitate.
