Immerso in una rigogliosa foresta pluviale con cascate, il Rain Forest Inn sorge a Bertam Valley e presenta camere con pezzi di artigianato locale e vista sul paesaggio naturalistico circostante. La struttura è immersa nel verde ed è composta da varie casette autonome, ognuna col suo bagno appena fuori. In una di queste case una famiglia prepara tutte le sere la cena con metodi tradizionali e si può assistere o aiutarli. Consiglio assolutamente di cenare nella struttura per un’esperienza autentica e cibo delizioso. Il posto è molto grande C’è una cascata meravigliosa con acqua balneabile, altalene e amache sparse, oltre ad una terrazza nel verde per colazione e cena. Appena accanto inizia la vera e propria foresta dove si può chiedere di essere accompagnati per un trekking dì quattro ore (che comprende il pranzo). L’host oltre a raccontare moltissimi aneddoti e curiosità, è disponibile ad accompagnare/venire a prendere dalla bus station per una piccola cifra.

Situated in Kuala Rompin in the Pahang region, Rompin Rainforest Lodge features accommodation with free private parking. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Malaysian cuisine. The whole experience here was brilliant. We happened to be the only guests staying at the time and it really felt like it was a private VIP booking! We were brought to our chalet with our luggage and then given a tour around the place on a buggy by the very friendly and helpful Mr. Lim. We were given all the information we needed in terms of activities. We had informed them in advance that we are both vegan and don't consume animal products and were a little worried what food might be on offer as it is a full board price. The chef came out to speak to us before our meal and was aware of this in advance and for dinner that evening, breakfast lunch and dinner the next day and then breakfast and lunch on our last day, we were treated to some incredible meals and each time we would walk up to the dining room, the same table in a nice location was ready for us to sit at and the food would come very soon after we sat down. The chef and staff would come to check every meal to make sure we had enough and that everything was ok. The chef even googled the ingredients of an Italian pasta packet to make sure it was vegan too. We felt the chef and the staff were invested in their job and cared for our experience. The activities we did were great. Unfortunately the weather meant the river was too dangerous so we couldn't do the river kayaking, but were able to do some kayaking and pedal boating in the waters at the accommodation where it was calm. The guides on our other activities were friendly and helpful and it was again like having a private guide each time. They provided us with a soap to spray on our legs to protect from leeches. They also allowed us to borrow life jackets to swim at the nearby waterfall. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well protected from all the insects and bugs from the forest.

The place is good, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Locations is easier to go out but you will need to drive. Surround activities is well connected, you can just book when you check in. The BBq set there are good too, we order for 2 pax for the night with the nature activities. The old airplan stop there is special just too many of mosquito, i think they still working on the renovation to become new room in future.

It is very quite & peaceful to spend time with family. The space outside of house is very huge & can play even football. After 7pm, the climate was cozy & cold. BBQ spot was awesome.
