The decorations are elegant yet practical . We did the reservation last moment and were hesitant as it was away from Bacalar centro, but it's close to the laguna de bacalar just 5 mins walk from casa cactus. This part if lagoon its not touristy, so it feels private relaxing . You can see stars at night . We ended up extending our stay as it was the best stay in 1 month of the trip Mexico. The bed was huge and comfortable . Staff were kind of knowledgeable . Visit the ruin nearby . Breakfast was as per order, which was personal and delicious. We will be back. You come here to relax, walk around and sleep good

Full and convenient kitechen outside. Very romantic and unusual. Small shops and streetfood nearby. Halfway between Tulum and Koba. We loved everything about it. I just booked my second stay there and I can't wait to return.

A huge bonus was being able to take the kayaks out for a breathtaking view of the sunset. The owner was readily available and so communicative. I highly recommend this property and hope to return soon.
