The host picked us up at the airport and even helped us out in buying flipflips which I forgot to pack. We arrived at their stunning place with a beautiful view. We also went to a local market together. Not a single service we asked was too much for them, they were so hospitable. We had tajine and diner in the evening made from local products, loved it. There was no wifi, but we loved to deconnect. We can definitely recommend this place, absolutely value for money and we are booking the place again for our next holiday!

It was a pleasure. Enjoy a spectacular sunset view from the terrace. We had a delicious breakfast. Also we had the best dinner for our family for a reasonable price. In the summer time it would be the most romantic place for a short stay. In the winter time it gets colder during the night, but You can always ask for heaters and a fire place. There is a hot water. Also You can have You laundry done there. Very comfortable beds.

The entire property exudes other-worldly vibes with lush gardens, wildlife, and all of the animals. It's truly a sacred haven away from the bustle of Marrakesh, though strategically located so that you can be in the old town in 20 minutes. The entire staff go above and beyond to ensure you're comfortable and have everything you need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Set in Ourika, 35 km from Marrakech, Le Douar Berbere boasts a year-round outdoor pool and views of the mountain. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Best hotel I stayed in, ever. I felt instantly warmly welcomed by Mostafa, Nawal, Mohammad, Abdelali and Abdelmajid. The scenery and the food fed our soul and stomach. The room design and features honour the magic location of this ecolodge. I leave a bit of me behind, and take a bit of them with me. I am grateful to everyone at Le Douar Berbère for assisting me all the way.

The breakfasts are delicious, everything is fresh and locally grown. In fact, all the meals were terrific. The staff were courteous and extremely helpful. Our host Bruno was a true gentleman and and a superb resource for local history and events.
