Arawe is a newly renovated 150-year old nature cottage located around 400m from the centre of Ella. Beautiful cottage in a beautiful setting. Very friendly staff. Fantastic food, both breakfast and dinner

Featuring a garden and free WiFi, Arana Sri Lanka Eco Lodge and Yoga Center is situated in Ella, 3 km from Demodara Nine Arch Bridge. Had and amazing stay! Just 2 nights but could have been a week. Just enough outside of downtown (a short walk or tuk tuk ride) to be peaceful and quiet but close enough to pop in for a meal, drink or a little bit of night life. The breakfast was perfect (great French press coffee) and my wife was able to take a yoga class each morning which she loved (she is a yoga teacher here in the US). The shower water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. The balcony off of the room was amazing with monkeys paying a visit in the morning. We slept well and didn't even use the fan provided. Will 100% be back to stay again. Thanks!

It is a stunning location, situated in the forest, with amazing views of Ella Rock and the surrounding area. The room was large and comfortable, with stunning views to wake up to. The free breakfast was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Thank you Amila and family - we had the best time and will definitely come back. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity!

I really think this place should charge you more than they do right now. I didnt expect much before i arrive but it was a super clean room, full of sound of nature at night. Very nice balcony. Angelo was there at 4:45 am to bid a farewell and he was an exceptional host from the beginning. If you are travelling with a budget, dont even think twice and book Tantra Ella Lodge.

Wajira, the friendly owner, is not just a host but also an excellent guide. He went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed during our stay. His local insights and recommendations were invaluable in making the most of our Ella experience. Ayubo Ella's location is also a plus, just 1.2 kilometers away from the heart of Ella, and conveniently close to the train station. A pleasant 20-minute walk brings you to the station, allowing you to explore the surrounding areas with ease. One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's staff, who were incredibly friendly and attentive. They made us feel like part of the family. The breakfast they served was superlative - a delicious spread that energized us for a day of exploring. And when it comes to dinner, I can only say that the flavors were simply divine. Now, let's talk about the rooms. The room we stayed in was not only spacious but also equipped with all the necessary facilities. It was clean, comfortable, and provided a brilliant view right from our window. Watching the sunrise from the room was an experience I'll cherish.
