The guest house is built on a steep forested slope adjacent to a beautiful waterfall. It is surrounded by forest vegetation and creatures, and the lovely host will look for things to show you and tell you about. Above the rooms there is a large opensided common area looking into the treetops. Here meals are served and it is a great place to while away time after an early morning Safari into Sinharaja Forest. The food is home-cooked using ingredients grown on the property, and is spectacular – the best we have encountered in Sri Lanka.

Offering a barbecue and views of the mountain, Rainforest Mount Lodge is situated in Deniyaya. Rain Forest Mount lodge is located opposite the main Pitadeniya entrance to the Sinharaja Rain Forest. This family run place with cosy rooms is located within walking distance from the entrance to Sinharaja National Park. It offers an infinity pool with awesome views, some really sweet and playful dogs, and just in general a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the middle of the jungle. The family offers the following: - The cool Son brings you cold beer, helps and organises cheap local transport and is an amazing guide who helps you spot rainforest life (and get good photos of it), plus make sure you make it home in one piece. - The sweet Mom cooks some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Asking for the spicy option is highly recommended. - The kind Dad takes care of the place and kills any giant spider that may enter your room with a broomstick. Prices are reasonable and upfront in a remote paradise.

Nastanitev Rainforest Nature House se nahaja v mestu Deniyaya v regiji Matara District in ponuja brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. The hosts are amazing!! It's run by two brothers on their parents' tea plantation. The two brothers are helpful, caring, polite, and very eager to show you around in their village. And I will absolutely encourage you to let them show you around. Their mum makes the most delicious meals, better than any restaurants I've visited during my 3 weeks stay. The little house has a beautiful view of the rain forest. I really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony drinking coffee. It's a kettle in the room so you can have coffee or tea whenever you like to. They also arranged a walk in Sinharaja for me, it was a very nice walk, about 4 hours. We didn't see a lot, so if you're interested in birds, I will recommend doing some of the longer hikes. And even go in another gate than the closest one.

Offering free WiFi and a garden, The Whitegates Lodge is located in Midigama, 6 km from Ahangama. Galle is 26 km away. Free private parking is available on site. All units include a seating area. Best place we stayed at. Comfortable bed, fridge in the room and shared kitchen you can use, good airco, quiet, unbelievable breakfast, very sweet host,… everything you need. Thank you so much, deffenitly recommend staying here if you have the chance!

Natural Mystic Sanctuary is so tranquil, situated up a steep hill in the forest. No WiFi but good phone reception. The night is filled with jungle sounds, birds, insects and frogs. The fireflies are magic. There is a place where you can bathe in the river. Staff are so friendly, professional and helpful. The food is varied and fresh and delicious. Will definitely return. Highly recommended 👌

Featuring a sun terrace, Subhasha Summer House is a double situated in Kottagoda in the Matara District Region. The unit is 47 km from Galle. Free private parking is available on site. Wow, what a two week away we had! The pictures do not do the place (or surroundings!) justice; it is astonishingly beautiful. Very informative check-in instructions, absolutely spotlessly clean inside and out, incredibly comfortable beds and soft linen, the house is far bigger than the pictures suggest, very well equipped kitchen and the sensational view from every window..it was the best holiday we've ever been on. Thank you Isuru for having us, we would love to stay again!
