This family run place with cosy rooms is located within walking distance from the entrance to Sinharaja National Park. It offers an infinity pool with awesome views, some really sweet and playful dogs, and just in general a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the middle of the jungle. The family offers the following: - The cool Son brings you cold beer, helps and organises cheap local transport and is an amazing guide who helps you spot rainforest life (and get good photos of it), plus make sure you make it home in one piece. - The sweet Mom cooks some of the best food we had in Sri Lanka. Asking for the spicy option is highly recommended. - The kind Dad takes care of the place and kills any giant spider that may enter your room with a broomstick. Prices are reasonable and upfront in a remote paradise.

We stayed 6 days in this wonderful hotel and it was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip in Sri Lanka!!! The hotel is located in front of the beach and guarantees full immersion in the natural frame with the breathtaking view on the sea and at same time with the comfort and services of the luxury hotel. Furthermore, it is close to interesting tourist areas, amazing beaches, restaurants,…The hotel is modern, cosy, furnished with great taste and sense of details, everything is perfectly clean, the swimming pool is amazing, the food is delicious!!! And the kindness and helpfulness of the owners and staff are just outstanding and make you feel being home. THANK YOU for the stay that we will remember as one of our best hotel stays!

Located in Deniyaya in the Matara District region, Rainforest Nature House provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The hosts are amazing!! It's run by two brothers on their parents' tea plantation. The two brothers are helpful, caring, polite, and very eager to show you around in their village. And I will absolutely encourage you to let them show you around. Their mum makes the most delicious meals, better than any restaurants I've visited during my 3 weeks stay. The little house has a beautiful view of the rain forest. I really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony drinking coffee. It's a kettle in the room so you can have coffee or tea whenever you like to. They also arranged a walk in Sinharaja for me, it was a very nice walk, about 4 hours. We didn't see a lot, so if you're interested in birds, I will recommend doing some of the longer hikes. And even go in another gate than the closest one.

Lovely place and lovely garden where you can relax! And is the cleanest guesthouse we found so far in sri lanka!

Natural Mystic Sanctuary is so tranquil, situated up a steep hill in the forest. No WiFi but good phone reception. The night is filled with jungle sounds, birds, insects and frogs. The fireflies are magic. There is a place where you can bathe in the river. Staff are so friendly, professional and helpful. The food is varied and fresh and delicious. Will definitely return. Highly recommended 👌

Featuring a sun terrace, Subhasha Summer House is a double situated in Kottagoda in the Matara District Region. The unit is 47 km from Galle. Free private parking is available on site. A wonderful place to stay. Beautiful house and the host Isuru is very friendly and has created some excellent guest suites. Breakfast and dinner was just delicious too. It was nice to have the kitchen area. We 100% recommend this as a great place to stay!

The place was amazing.so quiet and calm.Rooms were clean.the housekeeper was very helpful and try everyway to make as feel as it it is home.we contact the owner for the reserve the room he was fantastic helped us in check in to find location and so helpful and avaliable thanks we would love to stay again
