We hired a scooter and were povided with great local recommendations. The breakfasts were amazing and varied each morning. Set amidst a natural landscape, Back of Beyond – Pidurangala offers a peaceful getaway in Sigiriya. I loved the night walk! The guides are all amazing knowledgeable and very nice. We saw the loris but also a migrant bird sleeping and fireflies in the trees against the starry sky. Memorable. Makes you fall in love with nature. Thank you!

Spiritual Nature Farm - Sri Lanka features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Matale, 29 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Guests can also relax in the garden. I don't know where to begin.. I came here for 1 night to hike, stayed 3 nights and didn't do a single hike. It was too good to stay with Nero's family, volunteer there and at the pre school, share meals, meditate, go for walks, play with the kids... I have never felt more at home in Sri Lanka than here. If you go there, take your time, help around, enjoy real kindness and sharing. I can't thank you enough for my time at your place ❤️ This is a safe place to stay as a solo female traveler!

If you love to stay in a calm, quiet place, this is the one. Food was really good and staff were really helpful you can request food you want. Overall it was a different experience like in a forest.

Sigiryia rock access is more or less across the street. A paradise!
