I didn’t ask for it, but they surprised him good! Very good service. When we thought it couldn’t get better, they got us flower with the breakfast! The service is very very good. They really want you to have the best experience. Also clean beautiful rooms with a nice view and very good shower. I would very much recommend you stay here while in Kandy.

A bicycle rental service is available at the lodge. Loved this place… a real gem with stunning views and very attentive, helpful staff. Food very good too and plenty of it. Very private, you have whole place to yourself. Sitting area with kitchen facilities.

The rooms are compact but comfortable, and you can spend the whole day just lying on the bed and enjoying the view, it is so much better than the pictures. The family hosting the place is sincere and caring. Totally worth staying, especially if you have your own vehicle and are comfortable with steep roads.

The accommodation is fitted with a flat-screen TV. There is a private bathroom with a bath in every unit. This was a really lovely charming and unique hotel. So different to those corporate hotels. The ambience was great. I particularly loved the bean bags in the bar area and the snooker table. We stayed in the apartment suite which was perfect as a family travelling with 2 teens. The staff were most attentive and helpful. The breakfast was scrumptious and they accommodated our wishes by making us a typical Sri Lankan breakfast rather than a western breakfast. I would highly recommend this place to families. It's also only 5-10 mins walk to town and the Tooth relic temple and cultural show and is right next to the lake.
