Great in every way. Very clean and accommodating. The restaurant was affordable and delicious. The staff was beyond helpful despite our limited japanese skills. Close to the Sakka lift at Happo One. Belnina locates in a quite convenient spot of Echoland to access shuttle buses to many ski resorts. The host Taka and his wife were really hospitable and friendly, and they also recommended restaurants and coffee shops when being asked, which were all delicious! I truly had a lovely stay there.

Delightful cosy b&b with the most friendly, helpful and generous owners. Rooms are not huge but ample for a couple with lovely outlook over the garden. Breakfast is home cooked and delicious, served in a nice dining room with open fireplace nearby. The owners generously offered to serve us a home cooked meal for dinner one evening as we were having difficulty finding an open restaurant. It was delicious. Private bathrooms are small but adequate however they have a great large indoor bath/spa for guests which was so relaxing. Plenty of lovely places to visit, drives, local onsen etc and the owners have lots of local knowledge and information. Really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

The pension has a lovely onsen built into the main building we truly love soaking in at the end of an active day on the slopes. It's the perfect way to close the day. The couple who run the Pension are such nice, helpful people. Especially when it comes to organising/interfacing with travel for day trips or even grocery shopping. 100% recommend

It's not especially walkable but Toshi will shuttle you around the valley, including to Happo One ski resort. Just need to take a taxi if you're trying to get back after dinner time. Private onsen was really nice. Toshi and his wife were wonderful hosts, easily recommend.

I like everything about the lodge. The room has its own en suite bath tub and an outside hot bath and balcony. The accomodation also has free breakfast plus they give free shuttle to the ski resort. Chris and Dan are both so friendly and very accomodating. The place is also near Echoland which has a lot of restaurants. It's like home away from home. We will be back for sure next winter!

It made us feel like home, and they made us traditional Japanese breakfast which was very delicious. We will definitely come back next time!

Very similar to a European chalet holiday with a Japanese feel. Owners and staff were very friendly and attentive and organised everything from transport to lift passes, dinner bookings to serving a delicious breakfast.
