Early check in was a breeze, which enabled me to do the exploring I wanted to. Everything was clean and I had more space than I was expecting. Had dinner at the bar and the food and atmosphere were both great.

Good communication from owners and onsite staff Bev and Nigel who sorted out a couple of problems we had which were dealt with quickly and effectively. The Lodges are well equipped and had added extras like T towel, foil,cling film, washing up liquid etc. The beds were comfortable and Oak Lodge was clean. Good location for the wedding venue we went to. Will definitely stay hear again but next time take advantage of some of the extras which are offered.

Die Bowman Lodge ist eine familiengeführte Pension in der historischen Stadt Chester. Very comfortable, clean and tidy. Was able to use it as a base for my business trip here.
