Fernando told us so much about Costa Rica and the local area and was very generous and helpful.

El Satta Lodge ofrece una experiencia única en el corazón de la selva caribeña y a 700 metros de la playa de Cocles. This lodge was classy, had beautiful bungalows and the lovely lounge area in the middle was very well laid out…..there was ample seating, a refreshing pool and a good breakfast selection as well as drinks & tapas from 3-7pm. and all in a jungle setting. Bryan is a super host too!!!!

Nice lodge in the middle of nature and wildlife. Super close to Cahuita National Park. We had a nice bungalow, one of just a few, which was very clean and comfy. Great common outdoor kitchen. We saw sloths, monkeys, iguanas... right in the garden of the lodges.

Delphine and Bert were consummate hosts, the breakfast extraordinary, and the aesthetic of the cabin, the pool, and the surroundings exquisite. Simple elegance, done with the refined taste of an interior designer and architect. Each choice, from the food to the furnishings to the burbling dipping pool attached to the cabin, was done with such attention to detail and with such care. We were surrounded by the sounds of nature, from the wild sounds of the howler monkeys to soothing sounds of more than a dozen different birds in the space of a few minutes (identified with Merlin, the Cornell Ornithology ID app). On one day, we were rained out of our adventure, but returned happily to the front porch of our cabin to read in the Adirondack chairs. We felt not only well-taken care of, but in the company of intelligent and worldly hosts. Passion Fruit EcoLodge merits our unconditional praise.
