Samara Chillout Lodge är ett boutiquehotell som ligger 10 minuters promenad från Samara Beach i ett lugnt område. Här finns en utomhuspool som omges av en tropisk trädgård. We adored our stay. The hotel is outside of the main town with a beautiful garden and small pool, which was paradise. It was very hot during our stay and we spent more time at the pool than the beach. Tina and Jorg put a lot of love and effort into running the place, and also made sure that my birthday was special with a couple of lovely surprises. With only 5 rooms the place is quiet and private. Our room was huge and had a very large balcony (we didn’t use it much as it overlooked a brown field, given the dry season). There is a paid breakfast that we took once and it was absolutely enough food for an entire day! Free coffee available from 7, something I appreciate very much. I thought the price was very, very reasonable, given the luxury of the accommodations. Free parking was available just outside the doors. Great A/C and wifi. The town had so many dining options that we didn’t get to try all of Tina and Jorg’s recommendations. I highly encourage you to stay here if you want to just chill out while you are in Samara.

Totobe Resort ligger i Jabilla och erbjuder boende med utsikt över havet samt en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och grillmöjligheter. Amazing property right on a beautiful quiet beach with hardly anybody on it. A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

Guacamaya Lodge ligger i Paraíso, 9 minuters promenad från Junquillal Beach. Här erbjuds en utomhuspool, tennisbanor och massagebehandlingar. WiFi är gratis. This is a beautiful spot. It is a short walk (10 mins) to a lovely beach. There is a nice pool on site and a good restaurant (food and drinks appropriately priced for quality - not cheap, but good). We found the stay very relaxing and have no complaints at all.

Mundo Milo Eco Lodge ligger 350 meter från stranden Juquillal och omges av djungel. Här erbjuds en trärestaurang, bungalows med palapa-tak och en pool. It was beautiful! From the first step on the property through the trees, winding down the path to your cabana is so relaxing. We stayed in the Oriental suite with an outdoor kitchen… Awesome.

Cabañas Cañas Castilla ligger vid floden Sapoa, 10 minuters bilresa från staden La Cruz. Här erbjuds utsikt över vulkanen Orosi och dagsturer till Nicaragua. it’s a pearl missing in the middle of “nowhere”. so much nature, the owners so gentle. I wished I could’ve stayed longer.

Tamarindo Pura Selva Eco Tree House har en trädgård, en terrass och erbjuder boende i Guatemala med gratis WiFi och utsikt över trädgården. Absolutely beautiful treehouse. Excellent craftsmanship. Sways in the wind with the tree. This is a beautiful place for real nature lovers. There are critters so if you don't like them, this is not the place for you.

Cabañas del Bosque ligger i Nandayure och erbjuder boende med en utomhuspool som är öppen året om, gratis WiFi och gratis privat parkering för gäster som anländer med bil. Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Located in Brasilito, Casa Natural offers accommodation with a terrace and kitchen. Complimentary WiFi is available. We were so impressed by this property. The cabana style rooms where really cool and comfortable, within a gated area so while close to the beach there aren't cars passing by. The best part about it is the pool and BBQ area - it's really spacious, has tasteful styling, and there's a hot tub! It was so inviting that we spent a night cooking and swimming there instead of going out. I'd recommend it to anyone! Bonus - we saw a couple of snakes around the room :D
