Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical garden. We adored our stay. The hotel is outside of the main town with a beautiful garden and small pool, which was paradise. It was very hot during our stay and we spent more time at the pool than the beach. Tina and Jorg put a lot of love and effort into running the place, and also made sure that my birthday was special with a couple of lovely surprises. With only 5 rooms the place is quiet and private. Our room was huge and had a very large balcony (we didn’t use it much as it overlooked a brown field, given the dry season). There is a paid breakfast that we took once and it was absolutely enough food for an entire day! Free coffee available from 7, something I appreciate very much. I thought the price was very, very reasonable, given the luxury of the accommodations. Free parking was available just outside the doors. Great A/C and wifi. The town had so many dining options that we didn’t get to try all of Tina and Jorg’s recommendations. I highly encourage you to stay here if you want to just chill out while you are in Samara.

The Good Life Lodge offers 6 modern and comfortable hotel rooms and a 2-story house. Superb welcome! I booked the same morning, they replied very quickly and since the room was available they allowed us to check in at our earliest convenience! Clean location, big room, well furnished. I only wished we booked longer!

Totobe Resort se află în Jabilla și are vedere la mare, o piscină în aer liber, o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și facilități de grătar. Amazing property right on a beautiful quiet beach with hardly anybody on it. A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

Offering an outdoor pool, tennis courts and massages services, Guacamaya Lodge is located in Paraíso, 9 minutes’ walk from Junquillal Beach. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. This is a beautiful spot. It is a short walk (10 mins) to a lovely beach. There is a nice pool on site and a good restaurant (food and drinks appropriately priced for quality - not cheap, but good). We found the stay very relaxing and have no complaints at all.

Surrounded by the jungle and offering a wooden restaurant, palapa roof bungalows and a swimming pool, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located 350 metres from Juquillal Beach. The location is amazing with a wonderful pool and a really quite area. The food is delicious and the staff is extraordinarily friendly. I just stayed one night as my whole trip was pre-booked, but I would have liked to stay longer.

Cabañas Cañas Castilla is located on the shores of Sapoa River and 10 minutes’ drive from La Cruz town. It features Orosi Volcano views and one day tours to Nicaragua. it’s a pearl missing in the middle of “nowhere”. so much nature, the owners so gentle. I wished I could’ve stayed longer.

Tamarindo Pura Selva Eco Tree House se află în Guatemala și oferă cazare cu WiFi gratuit și vedere la grădină, precum și o grădină și o terasă. Absolutely beautiful treehouse. Excellent craftsmanship. Sways in the wind with the tree. This is a beautiful place for real nature lovers. There are critters so if you don't like them, this is not the place for you.

Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Located in Brasilito, Casa Natural offers accommodation with a terrace and kitchen. Complimentary WiFi is available. We were so impressed by this property. The cabana style rooms where really cool and comfortable, within a gated area so while close to the beach there aren't cars passing by. The best part about it is the pool and BBQ area - it's really spacious, has tasteful styling, and there's a hot tub! It was so inviting that we spent a night cooking and swimming there instead of going out. I'd recommend it to anyone! Bonus - we saw a couple of snakes around the room :D
