Samara Chillout Lodge is a boutique hotel located 10 minutes' walk from Samara Beach in a quiet area. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical garden. Operators, two expats from Germany, were super friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Location was good.

The Good Life Lodge offers 6 modern and comfortable hotel rooms and a 2-story house. Everything was perfect! They had a really good breakfast and the room was absolutely perfect.

Amazing property right on a beautiful quiet beach with hardly anybody on it. A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

Offering an outdoor pool, tennis courts and massages services, Guacamaya Lodge is located in Paraíso, 9 minutes’ walk from Junquillal Beach. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. If you like peace and quiet, Guacamaya is the place for you. When you step out of the door of your room you see lovely landscaped plants and lawn. you can't see the ocean, but you can hear it and it really is just a 5 minute walk down an almost unused dirt road. The beach is not crowded at all, just a few folks here and there. We thoroughly enjoyed the motel restaurant. There was much selection and we liked everything we tried. We were there 5 nights and never went anywhere else because the open air atmosphere and food were so good. Breakfast was very tasty too, especially all the fresh fruit! We had a small kitchen in our room, but no microwave. Loved the pool too. Also very peaceful. We would go back in a minute!

Surrounded by the jungle and offering a wooden restaurant, palapa roof bungalows and a swimming pool, Mundo Milo Eco Lodge is located 350 metres from Juquillal Beach. Absolutely everything,especially the hostess and her amazing staff! The host Lieke is very friendly and helpful always willing to show or tell us what’s the most beautiful places to go and see! she makes home away from home feel like home.

Cabañas Cañas Castilla is located on the shores of Sapoa River and 10 minutes’ drive from La Cruz town. It features Orosi Volcano views and one day tours to Nicaragua. Gorgeous place! As a paradise, we really enjoyed the Nature, it is a peaceful place and the host are so kind! The breakfast and the dinner were pretty good, home Made with local products.

Absolutely beautiful treehouse. Excellent craftsmanship. Sways in the wind with the tree. This is a beautiful place for real nature lovers. There are critters so if you don't like them, this is not the place for you.

Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

I adore this place, the design of the House, the communion with nature, falling aspleep and waking up with the wave of the pacific ocean, watching the sunset… This is an experience i will remember for a long Time, this is the perfect echo of Pura vida, the hymn of Costa Rica. The personel is so thoughtful, every detail was perfect … the information given are on point, for beaches, restaurant. The breakfast was amazing with homemade jam, juice, freshly baked bread, and each day différent, we were waiting for it with impatience. And even a thank you note and they washed our car before leaving without us asking for it …. Thank you for the stay and Hope to be back soon. For info : a 4x4 is needed to go to the House.

Located in Brasilito, Casa Natural offers accommodation with a terrace and kitchen. Complimentary WiFi is available. The house was spacious and the shower was so nice with the large shower head and feeling of being outside. There were board games that we could enjoy. The pool area was nice.
