Samara Chillout Lodge er et boutique-hotel, som ligger 10 minutters gang fra Samara Strand i et roligt område. Der er udendørs swimmingpool omgivet af en tropisk have. We adored our stay. The hotel is outside of the main town with a beautiful garden and small pool, which was paradise. It was very hot during our stay and we spent more time at the pool than the beach. Tina and Jorg put a lot of love and effort into running the place, and also made sure that my birthday was special with a couple of lovely surprises. With only 5 rooms the place is quiet and private. Our room was huge and had a very large balcony (we didn’t use it much as it overlooked a brown field, given the dry season). There is a paid breakfast that we took once and it was absolutely enough food for an entire day! Free coffee available from 7, something I appreciate very much. I thought the price was very, very reasonable, given the luxury of the accommodations. Free parking was available just outside the doors. Great A/C and wifi. The town had so many dining options that we didn’t get to try all of Tina and Jorg’s recommendations. I highly encourage you to stay here if you want to just chill out while you are in Samara.

Totobe Resort ligger i Jabilla og har havudsigt, udendørs swimmingpool, have, fælles opholdsstue, terrasse og grillfaciliteter. Der er gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Amazing property right on a beautiful quiet beach with hardly anybody on it. A bit of a mission to get there but 100% worth it, the staff were amazing and super friendly it is slightly rustic but the view off your deck is fantastic! The waves are fun for surfing also.

Guacamaya Lodge ligger i Paraíso, 9 minutters gang fra Junquillal-stranden. Der tilbydes udendørs pool, tennisbaner og massagebehandlinger. Der er gratis WiFi. This is a beautiful spot. It is a short walk (10 mins) to a lovely beach. There is a nice pool on site and a good restaurant (food and drinks appropriately priced for quality - not cheap, but good). We found the stay very relaxing and have no complaints at all.

Mundo Milo Eco Lodge ligger 350 meter fra stranden Juquillal og er omgivet af junglen. Der tilbydes trærestaurant, bungalows med palapa-tag samt swimmingpool. The location is amazing with a wonderful pool and a really quite area. The food is delicious and the staff is extraordinarily friendly. I just stayed one night as my whole trip was pre-booked, but I would have liked to stay longer.

Cabañas Cañas Castilla ligger ved bredden af floden Sapoa og 10 minutters kørsel fra byen La Cruz. Der er udsigt over Orosi-vulkanen og en dagsudflugt til Nicaragua. The staff were so friendly and helpful The property is located in a beautiful area with lots of animals.

Tamarindo Pura Selva Eco Tree House ligger i Guatemala og har have, terrasse, gratis wi-fi og udsigt til haven. Absolutely beautiful treehouse. Excellent craftsmanship. Sways in the wind with the tree. This is a beautiful place for real nature lovers. There are critters so if you don't like them, this is not the place for you.

Cabañas del Bosque ligger i Nandayure og tilbyder indkvartering med gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering for gæster i bil. Cute, well appointed, brand new cabins as of 2022. Remote, but well stocked with electric hot plate and pot, coffee and coffee maker, and mini fridge. And a nice little pool! Definitely don't recommend driving through Hojancha unless you're up for a fairly bumpy/off-road experience. Instead, go through Santa Rita - same amount of time from Nicoya, but way smoother!

Canta La Rana ligger i Bejuco og har swimmingpool, have, terrasse og havudsigt. Der tilbydes indkvartering med gratis wi-fi. I adore this place, the design of the House, the communion with nature, falling aspleep and waking up with the wave of the pacific ocean, watching the sunset… This is an experience i will remember for a long Time, this is the perfect echo of Pura vida, the hymn of Costa Rica. The personel is so thoughtful, every detail was perfect … the information given are on point, for beaches, restaurant. The breakfast was amazing with homemade jam, juice, freshly baked bread, and each day différent, we were waiting for it with impatience. And even a thank you note and they washed our car before leaving without us asking for it …. Thank you for the stay and Hope to be back soon. For info : a 4x4 is needed to go to the House.

Casa Natural ligger i Brasilito og tilbyder indkvartering med terrasse og køkken. Der er gratis wi-fi. We were so impressed by this property. The cabana style rooms where really cool and comfortable, within a gated area so while close to the beach there aren't cars passing by. The best part about it is the pool and BBQ area - it's really spacious, has tasteful styling, and there's a hot tub! It was so inviting that we spent a night cooking and swimming there instead of going out. I'd recommend it to anyone! Bonus - we saw a couple of snakes around the room :D
