The place is extraordinary, at the heart of a very quiet and peaceful land of forest, with a nice view on the sea. I really recommend the chocolate tour where you can taste the chocolate of the farm in (almost) unlimited quantities. For gourmands only!

The relaxing atmosphere was superb. staff were extremely helpful in planning excursions and providing drivers.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. Amazing place close to Tayrona NP. The photos on booking looked to good to be true, but they are 100% accurate. The style of the buildings merges nicely into the jungle, their ecological approach is transparent and visible. The beds are extremely comfortable and offer mosquito nets (in addition to all windows and doors being equipped with them as well). The restaurant offers fresh, regional and very tasty dishes for a reasonable price (and good variety) which is important as there is little else around. The pool and facilities are well-kept and inviting. And they even have a little zoo (a cat and a parrot freely strolling the yard, turtles and fishes). And the staff is very friendly, service-oriented and goes out of their way to make your stay pleasurable (special shout-out and thanks to Santiago). A small paradise in the jungle, we regretted not being able to stay longer.

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. It is only a few steps from the sea! The hosts are super friendly and very eager to help. The hut was cleaned every single day, with new bed sheets, which is just amazing as sand inevitably gets inside everwhere. There are loads of sunbeds and chairs of the property and a nice comunal area for relaxing. We ditched Salento for this place and could not have been happier. Salento does not even come close to the tranquility and beauty around here. The next “door” restaurant was one of the best we had in Colombia with very affordable prices.

Waking up in that beautiful location was like a dream. I loved watching the sunrise to the chorus of birds. I didn’t want to leave and definitely will return. I loved the view, the architecture, the decor, the host, the location, the nature, the multiple decks, hammocks, everything!

Finca Cuipo se află în Buritaca și oferă vedere la mare, precum și o piscină în aer liber, o grădină și o terasă. Fiecare unitate beneficiază de un balcon cu vedere la munte. Finca Cuipo is magical, and the wonderfully warm hosts only add to the stunning natural setting. I stayed 3 nights and was sad to leave on the final morning. I can’t wait to return again soon!

Reserva Atashi se găsește la 46 km de Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino și are o grădină, o terasă și o bucătărie comună. Unele unități au un balcon și/sau un patio cu vedere la mare sau la munte. Superb little cabaña in the middle of the jungle. Wake up to the sound of birds and monkeys. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony, as well as talking to Jorge and his family. They are wonderful hosts, very kind and generous. It's a happy place!

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Entre Bosques Tayrona is set in Los Naranjos, 37 km from Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and outdoor swimming pool. Very peaceful and private location in the middle of the forest. Very friendly staff :-)
