Saw lots of monkeys and birds. Went on an awesome cacao tour in the mountain. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great.

The place is extraordinary, at the heart of a very quiet and peaceful land of forest, with a nice view on the sea. I really recommend the chocolate tour where you can taste the chocolate of the farm in (almost) unlimited quantities. For gourmands only!

Providing sea views, Senda Cabaña Barlovento in Los Naranjos provides accommodation, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant, a bar and a private beach area. The relaxing atmosphere was superb. staff were extremely helpful in planning excursions and providing drivers.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. Super friendly staff . Great location for park entrance. Great views.

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. Located in Buritaca, Paraiso Ahimsa provides accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and sea views. There is a fully equipped private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. We loved our stay at Paraiso Ahimsa. Waking up in that beautiful location was like a dream. I loved watching the sunrise to the chorus of birds. I didn’t want to leave and definitely will return. I loved the view, the architecture, the decor, the host, the location, the nature, the multiple decks, hammocks, everything!

What makes this place so great, as so many have alluded to, is Fiona and Helmut - lovely, hospitable hosts who do everything they can to make you feel welcome. Loved the breakfasts and Helmut’s cooking in the evening was excellent too. The location is just magnificent and the views from the Finca and from the poolside are unforgettable - banana trees, jungle and the beautiful coastline. It is a rustic place but with lots of beautiful touches and a great spot from which to totally unwind and escape - though we also used it as a base to explore nearby Tayrona National Park and Palomino, both short bus rides away from the bottom of the hill. Thank you guys for sharing your slice of paradise with us, we miss it already!

Featuring sea views, Reserva Atashi in La Poza features accommodation, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. A patio with mountain views is offered in every unit. Superb little cabaña in the middle of the jungle. Wake up to the sound of birds and monkeys. I spent a lot of time relaxing on the balcony, as well as talking to Jorge and his family. They are wonderful hosts, very kind and generous. It's a happy place!

Offering a barbecue and terrace, Entre Bosques Tayrona is set in Los Naranjos, 37 km from Santa Marta. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant and outdoor swimming pool. Very peaceful and private location in the middle of the forest. Very friendly staff :-)
