We didn't make use of the sauna facilities ourselves. Amazing place with great views and super friendly staff. They were very accommodating for our family and it was child friendly with a lovely little playground for little ones. Our two year old daughter had a great time! And so did we! :-)

Sörenberg’s Free Spirit Lodge offers units that each have a balcony or terrace with views of the surrounding landscape. Host was super welcoming and very kind. Down to earth rustic space. Very cool area on a mountain path. Short trail walk to town and gondola lifts. Thank you.

BlackRock is a lodge set in Stalden in the Canton of Valais Region and is 24 km from Zermatt. It provides free private parking. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Black Rock to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It was top notch from the get go and didn’t disappoint in anyway. Otto the owner certainly pays attention to detail. He met us promptly at the accommodation with a bottle of wine, fully stocked fridge and detailed explanation of how to operate appliances, sauna, etc. Everything was spotless and quality built, which made for a very comfortable stay. In addition, the location is spectacular. Nestled in a mountainside close to Zermatt and Montreux it makes for a perfect place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city or launching pad for a day trip to the Matterhorn. Upon checkout Otto surprised my husband with a parting gift, an assortment of Swiss beer knowing he was a beer connoisseur. If your travels takes you this way you must stay here!

Super comfortable, well equipped apartment, centrally located in Pontresina (we just went out every morning for a walk to be greeted by the ibex in the Steinbock Promenade!)

The Weisshorn’s restaurant serves Swiss cuisine and Valais specialities. well located on the main street, very clean, quiet and comfortable, room with a view of the main street (beautiful when it is snowy), ski storage, good savory sweet buffet breakfast, restaurant in the hotel, very welcoming staff, good value, chalet atmosphere
